The Mile Highlanders formed in 2005 at a local Denver pub. The concept of the band was to provide a musical alternative to the normal bagpipe band scene.

We continue this tradition by selecting unique tunes with our own custom arrangements and include alternative instruments not normally heard in a bagpipe setting.

You may be surprised to hear an Elvis tune, or a Pink Floyd classic thrown in with some of our traditional sets.  And the drummers may just bust-out a Djembe, or bongo drums.
